Hello Everybody!

So i got this fully functional iPad laying around, except the cord between the screen and the motherboard is ripped. It seems like the cord is attached to the screen so my question is, do i have to replace the whole screen or can i just replace th cord? Check the pics.

I'm not sure which cable that is, I haven't disassembled an iPad yet.

But sadly that kind of tear is not repairable -- you'll have to replace the screen assembly. Sorry to bring the bad news!

EDIT: okay, so that cable is the digitizer cable. You might be able to replace just the digitizer, but I'm not quite sure.
