So thought I’d post a pick of my real world desktop for some future generation who can look at the way we lived. And this is only part of it. There’s the clutter under the desk, and the bag of adapters for the MacBook, and the charging cables I leave in various strategic locations, and the wider view of my desk that would show the two monitors and the iDevice stands, and a drawer full of old parts I keep for future issues.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m a happy camper. All this actually is very efficient in supporting my productivity and connectedness. I can run my personal Apple gear alongside my work Windows laptop with ease. But it seems to be getting worse not better, and truth be told I would much prefer a much less cluttered environment.
Ironically the one cable I can’t run is Ethernet, because the router is on another floor.
