I would like advice from fellow cable tv cord cutters. I am running Netflix, crackle on my iPhone 4 and iPad 2.

What else is good to use for content while not paying a cable bill?

Thanks

While not aging a cable bill? Idk what that means. Anyhow, I assume u are asking what apps are good to watch a little free tv on ur iOS device- comcast xfinity tv(if u use Comcast), HBO GO- if u have that available, TBS, espn watch(I think it's called that). There are quite a few others, and If u know anyone who uses Comcast, that is a close personal friend(who is also a HBO subscriber) they can make u a Comcast.net email address and u can use HBO Go for free. IMHO it's far better than netflix with much newer content and premium shows. I'm sure of u have any of the other providers uses for the HBO go app I'm sure u can use one of their email address's. Hopefully this is what u were asking, HBO go is my go to app for movies.

That really depends on the specific content you're looking for. Not all sources offer all content. You really should clarify what content you want if you want suggestions.

Guess the OP was corrected but even with the typo you can tell by the subject that the OP is looking to drop cable. As such, the Xfinity and HBO Go apps are irrelevant.

Against the TOS. You might not want to post on a public forum that you and your friend are doing this.

Anyone who has cut the cord, please list the apps you presently using. I am familiar with Netflix, crackle and hbo go.

What else do you recommend ?

In addition to Netflix, I also use JustinTV and I use Safari to stream my local news station, although the times of day for streaming are limited by the tv station. Oh yeah, PBS also is a good recommendation. Cord Cutters Rejoice!!!!

Me and a friend don't do this, if they are simply making you a email address it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal. My mother has Comcast and made me an email address many years ago that I still use to watch HBO go and similar apps.
