Hi,

For our next 2D animation iPhone application, we received two proposals: one developer wants to do it in cocos2d, the other - regular Core Animation.

Is there any advantage of cocos2d vs Core Animation?

All of our previous apps used core animation, so I'm unfamiliar with cocos2d.

What do you think?

If you have alot of skills already in a specific Field, why don't you stick with it for finishing the project. Cocos2D is an epic library, and a good community, but don't forget, u need to relearn some things.
I think it isn't a question to ask people, but rather, what do you guys really want.
I think Cocos2D has some good build in things, which will make you code longer otherwise.
So, Take a guess :)
