Hi Everyone,
To begin I am a complete noob with home recording. I am looking forward to learning though!
I have been doing a lot of research concerning audio interfaces. I believe that I will get an Edirol FA-66. One of the reasons I like this one is that it doesn't require a driver for Macs, but rather uses Core Audio.
First of all, I would just like to confirm that that is a good thing. It seems to me that if I am using my MB to record it would be best to use Core Audio rather than a third part driver. Is this correct?
Also, is there anything pertinent I should know about Core Audio in Snow Leopard? I guess I would just like to confirm that I will be able to use this interface with that operating system.
Mike
