Hello!
Today, my iMac 20" - 9.1 - 8GB RAM, running Mac OS X 10.7.5, was normal.
After I restarted, it became slow and virtually unresponsive, in such a way that I couldn't even shut it down.
I've rebooted to the recovery partition and repaired both disk and permissions, but it didn't work.
I was able to see, through the Activity Monitor that "coreaudiod" process exhausts both CPU (reaching some incredible 120%) and RAM.
How can I solve this? Thank you in advance for your help.
