Hello,
i've a macbook pro1,1 with the core duo t2600 2,16ghz, and i'm currently running bootcamp with windows 7 x86 installed.
Well, recently i've stumbled with an issue, and that's why i'm looking for your knowleged. My mac is really slow and hot (due to it's hottness, i'll place new thermal coumpound within a couple of days), so when i fired up the coretemp soft, i saw that in the info my cpu as a 6x multiplier, which renders it into a 995mhz processor
I've done a lot of things, in which includes changing the power status to maximum performance and look into the msconfig to see if there was anything closed or limited (it's normal by far). So, even with the speedstep, i ran a cpu stress software and it stills shows the clock speed with a max of 995 mhz

Is there something that i'm missing? Can you give me any info so that i can use the laptop in it's full spec?
Appreciate all help. Thanks to all.
Sorry for any misspelling.
