Core Duo MacBook Pro

So I sold my 2.0 GHz C2D MacBook and bought 1.83 GHz CD MacBook Pro from eBay for $700. It hasn't arrived yet. I contacted a seller that had bought the same thing and he said it only had some scratches and no dents and the battery still had over 80% charge. I get 30 days to return it once I get it. I will only use the computer for iTunes, light photo work, Safari, light Photoshop, Mail, Word, and to watch movies on my external screen. Should I return it and save to get a better MB Pro or test it out and if I don't like it, return it? Does anyone here still have a Rev. A MacBook Pro? I need advice.
