Core i7 2.66 vs. Mac Pro 2x 2.16

Did this benchmark comparison using XBench. The Core i7 MBP holds its own pretty decently.

Thing that mystifies me is that the laptop beats the 285 GTX on the OpenGL test. That just doesn't seem right... methinks XBench needs updating.

Well let's be honest, as far as video cards go the driver's for OS X have always been rather pathetic.

Yeah, I always thought that they should just let NVIDIA write the drivers. Because Apple's, yeah, I've had issues.
