So after a week of having my MacBook Pro, a mishandling error on my part has resulted in the right rear corner to be slightly indented. There is nothing else wrong with it, screen came off OK and the DVI port still works too!

From the attached photo, it's easy to see why it has dented so easily; there is a void in the rear right corner. Now I'm debating removing the keyboard and trying to pop the dent back out or living with it through for at least the warranty period.

Has anyone had any luck reshaping the casing? I assume it won't be too hard and as there is a bit of room in the back corner.

Very difficult to reshape the casing; trust me I tried.

ya...you would never be able to get it to look right. i would just leave it. you could not simply "pop" it out.

any warranty issues, and if the dent is big enough, apple will try to blame you/dent.

ive heard several stories of people being denied service because of Large dents, just a heads up.
