the reason i ask is because a close friens of mine is moving to the UK for work and wants to give me gis grandfathered unlimited data through Verizons AOL policy. I plan to apply my corporate diaxount toir and add text measaging to it. Iwant tomake sure that if ido thisI am not going to lose the unlimited data and be forced into a share everything plan.

note i do not currently hv a verizon phone and my friend has only used 3G phones with his.unlimited data plan. Is it okay to transfer the unlimited data to me this week, then 3.weeks from now get a verizon iphone5 and apply cirporate discount? or do they require u to hv a phone first?
