Corporate Discounts...

A quick question - I didn't have an old iPhone, but I heard that the old iPhone plans didn't qualify for corporate discount plans.

Now that Apple isn't tied to the monthly fees, does anyone know if we will be able to use corporate discounts?

A leaked memo published by boygenius and gizmodo said that the IRU and CRU discounts will now work with the iPhone plan (so if you got a FAN number you get a discount now). So if the leak is to be believed then yes, it will now work.

This falls in line with AT&T saying that the new rate plan is not special and is the same rate plan as every other phone. Still, they have not come out and explicitly said it yet.

Yes:
IRU service discounts for both voice and data pans will apply to iPhone 3G, but not 2G iPhone.
CRU service discounts for voice and data will apply to both 2G and 3G, when on a qualifying data plan.
IRUs will not get a discount on device purchase for 2G or iPhone 3Gs.
