Corporate - Personal Swap

OC Baby!
Long story short. My company has issued me an iPhone 3gs. Dealing with our Corporate IT department is very challenging to say the least.

My Wife is going to sign up with ATT and get an iPhone 4. She said she would swap me phones.

Once my wife activates the iPhone 4, can we simply swap sims or will I need to get my corporate IT involved? I'm hoping I can just trim my sim and swap them.
