Thanks! Does that brand really matter? I put crucial in my old MBP but I don't really know much about the different brands.

G.Skill is a good brand. Plenty of 2011 MBP owners have bought that exactly same RAM and it works fine. Usually all RAM that is sold by a reliable reseller (like NewEgg) and has good reviews is a good buy. IMO it's waste of money to buy brand X instead of Y just because of the brand name.
