Corrupt Arial

Somehow my Arial font has gone corrupt.
Firefox and any other program that uses Arial now replaces a Space character for every Arial character.
How can I reverse this?

Try opening "Font Book" inside the Applications folder. Select Arial and select the "Validate Font" command under the File Menu.
