I have an iMac running OSX 10.6.7 and app MS Office 11 also a Fusion Virtual Machine. I have installed a dev application on the VM. The vendor then sends the license by email (to an Outlook address). When I save the attachment to my VM shared folder the file is corrupted. Also if I forward the email to my mail account it is still corrupted. Please see following from the vendor support team:
Hi,
The license you sent is corrupted, we're not sure how you're saving it, but it has Mac end of line symbols in it, maybe you're saving it as text and Mac changes the line endings for you (or maybe your email client is doing it for you). It's first time when you experienced such issue.
We're sending a license for you in a zip file, please try to save it as a binary so nothing in the file will be changed.
Thank you,
Support.
Hope you can help Dadmin.
