I have old home dvd's which play on a dvd player but cannot be duplicated either on a Mac or a PC using Cinematize 2.0 or Cinematize Pro, Mac The Ripper or Roxio software. A file is obviously corrupt.
Any Mac software to fix the problem?

(These are not commercial dvd's I am trying to fix but home videos that are irreplaceable.)

Have you tried Handbrake to rip it?

As a last resort, since the DVD plays in a player, you could redigitize the DVD's contents by capturing the analog signal from the DVD player. You'll get a generational loss in quality, but that's better then losing the footage altogether.
