I've noticed for some time now that I can't go to October 2010 in my iCal or iCal freezes up. No biggie as don't need to check old entries.

But now I can't export my iCal archive (going to update to Lion) as it hangs on that too.

I know it's specifically that month as I can't scroll to it, even in week view.

It looks like in day view it locks up at October 30th 2010.

Is there any way to rebuild the database, or find out what specific event is crashing it?

I narrowed it down to one calendar. I had 5000 duplicate entries (as in 5000 of the same exact entry....)
I deleted all but one of them, and trashed the cache and it worked fine after that.
