Im trying ot help out a teacher.. She keeps all her powerpoints on her thumbdrive as well as all her other files.. yesterday, the computer locked up (windows of course) so she had to restart it, and left the thumb drive in the computer.. when she tried to view some of her files.. about half of them are like gyberish i guess you would call it, filled with like these y's with symbols on top of them..

So how can i fix these documents? Its about half the files on her thumb drive...

There must be some way to get the information back.. i have done something similar with a digital camera card but not with a thumb drive.. any help would be appreciated..

thumb drives and digital camera's both use flash memory, so why don't you try what you have done before.
