Has anyone seen their apps disappear = including those that should be uninstallable without a jailbreak?

This has happened on my iPhone 7 Plus numerous times with iOS10 before getting a replacement phone from the Genius Bar, and after a short real once with iOS 11 Public beta

Any ideas welcome - long term Mac owner since 1991 but infrequent poster
