After seeing how opening 20++ browser windows, photoshop, itunes, vlc running HD movies, and some other apps can put extreme strain to 1GB RAM on my Macbook (MB062ZP/A), I think I'm going to get the "VSA4GSDSKIT667C4" Low Latency kit.

Now I was wondering:

1. Is this a good product? I mean, any good stories about it?

2. Aside from the cost for the "loss of 700MB", are there any other disadvantages for putting this kit into the mid 2007 Macbook? I was under impression that doing so can drain the battery more. And I think I read somewhere that there are some applications (iDVD? iMovie?) that won't work if I installed 4GB RAM into the Macbook.

Looking for your advice :)

Anyone?

(So far I only found bad stories about it, albeit not many)

Ah well, apparently I've found one good story about it.

Mine. :D

The 4GB (3GB) Kit seems to be doing fine right now.
