Corsair Force 3 and Crucial M4 not working well in my MBP. Why?

I think the cable thing is only the 17" models. As for why? i honestly don't know...probably OS X features like SMS, Drive Sleep, SMART etc interfering with SSD controllers.
 
In the other thread it was said that models from April and later don't have these problems. Is this true?

Mine is from March.
 
mine is a week 22 2.3 CTO and its crap its my third and its going back
going to try one more then its pc time. ive hadit with this been on mac for last 10 years since switching but i think apple now just a phone company
mac 1 4th march 6/3
mac 2 17th april 6/3
mac 3 3rd june 6/6

none work with vertex 3 various levels of problem but in a £2300 + vertex3
its not good

i think apple beta testers for intel good work if you can get it

p.s had my drive in a friends 15" works perfect but i want the express 34 slot for external disks

i got m7 2011 2011 SB 17" MBP ordered 23/03/11 received 30/03/11
drat - might of got the last bunch of faulty MBP 17" :eek:

but u have the 15" which seems to work well with SATA-3 interface

thats the envy speakin - wish i went for high end 15"
the 17" has not lived upto what i expected it to be
since i have a redundant expresscard slot - as all usb3 cards i tried have failed!
and this pissin sata-3 inconsistencies with sata 6 drives :mad:


in hindsight - wish saved my £200 and the £150 on owc SSD and got a vertex 3 then an 27" ACD later in the year
