Just received my new 2012 MacBook Pro non-retina. Also got a Corsair Force GT 240GB SSD to throw in it. Got it for $200 on newegg with the rebate. I know that im getting Sata3 connection because system information is telling me it is, also i have TRIM enabled. But for some reason i only get aprox 315MB write, while i should be getting somewhere in the 500MB range. Anyone have any experience with this SSD and a MacBook Pro and if there is anything else i can try to fix it. Also im using BlackMagic to test my speeds.

Screenshot attached.

Thanks for any input

Remember that Sandforce-based drives have inflated numbers when writing compressible data - so what you're seeing is normal for non-compressible or random data.

They advertise the compressible data numbers, though.
