I have a 13" MacBook Pro that I BTO with the SSD drive from Apple. It came with the "slow" Toshiba SSD.

System Profiler reports 3Gb SATA II. I am trying to decide between the Corsair P128 and X128 which after rebates are the same price. What's the catch? The P128 is just a rebadged Samsung so that one is probably a safe bet but the X128 being the same price has me tempted. Is there a reason to choose the P128 over the X128 though? Any compatibility problems with the X128 I should know about? I considered the OCZ models but their forums seem to be flooded with people having problems with them.

The Samsung controller seems to be tried and tested with Mac hardware. Are there any compatibility issues with drives using the Indilinx controller? Has anyone here installed the Corsair X128 in their MacBook yet?

Well, I guess I'll order the P128 just to be safe as I'm not getting a good vibe here on X128 compatibility.
