Cosmos Blue leather vs Cobalt Blue silicone case

How good are these cases for the silver iPhone X? It is hard to tell from the apple website pictures, compared to some other pictures and videos I saw. They all look different. Which one do you guys prefer for the silver iPhone X?

This is my first apple case, but I went with the blue cobalt silicone case.

I like the color & I'm happy with it so far.....I chose silicone because I prefer the texture over leather (as well as it keeping it's original color).

In terms of protection, I'm assuming they'd both be about the same. I'm not a fan of the open bottom, but if you're interested in either one of theses cases, that's something you have to accept. Doesn't bother me as much anymore.
