I think I’d rather jump on the 2018 MacBook Air deal. If I buy something in this day and age, I wanna make sure that although I’m ok with some of the shortcomings now, those same shortcomings won’t be hideous and bother me down the line. Having an ugly screen would be a dealbreaker for me. I’d pass

it's an ok deal that includes lots of useable ports. But definitely check out the 2018 Air. It has a retina screen and faster CPU for $100 less. For my money, I'd probably go with the 2018. The screen on last year's Air is horrid compared to a retina screen.
