A bit of a strange one this. I have aniPhone 12 Mini 128gb running IOS 14.4. I've noticed that browsing the forums on the Ars Technica website will cause the back of my phone to get noticeably hot. It hasn't happened on other forums / website that I visit. I'm not viewing any video / music content, just reading forum posts ( like on this web site)
I initially thought that it might be a glitch, so I restarted my phone but get the same issue. Strange that it seems to happen on this one particular website. Has anyone experienced this, or can advise of any way of seeing what process is causing the issue?

Javascript execution can push the CPU as much as any other app can. But "overheat", no. The phone has temperature sensors and knows how to prevent that from happening
