One thing Apple focused on at the Watch event was digital touch and the taptic engine. Of course using digital touch requires the Watch. You can't send a little sketch or specific tap to someone's iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If this form of communication catches on (especially with young people) I think it could spur Watch sales. You'll see your friends communicating this way and you'll want to do the same. I also think Siri along with the taptic engine could be useful for disabled people, like the maps feature they showed off which provided specific vibrations for turning right vs left. I'm very curious to see what Apple has up its sleeve for the Watch event next year. No doubt they've saved stuff for the launch event. If it was ready now they'd be selling it now not waiting until next year.
