It's one thing to have someone touch the screen with their finger but what about a fingernail? Could a fingernail really do harm to a screen in terms of scratching it and such?
 
The screen is glass, your finger nail is made of Keratin. It's just not hard enough. (That's what she said.) :p

Edit: If it's a matte screen, then yes your nail could scratch it because the matte coating is plastic.
 
Normal fingernail, no. No matter how hard you scratch.

A nail-polished fingernail, or those fake fingernails, I'm less sure about.

So if someone's gonna be prodding your screen, try to make sure it's a non-transexual man.
