Could I get USD 2000$ for my MBP after Jan 08?

Do you think I could get a solid USD 2000$ for my MBP after the next revision comes out (Est Jan 08)

I bought it brand new August 07.
2.4GHz Core 2 Duo Santa Rosa
4GB of Ram (Upgraded myself from Crucial)
160GB Hard Drive
This MBP came with Tiger and iLife 06; however, I have upgraded to Leopard and iLife 08, which would also be included.

The Machine itself is perfect however I think I need something more like a MacPro. But I wont be able to sell this one until after I get my Taxes in late Jan. Could I still get about USD 2000$ for this?

um I'd say if new models are released then no. But you'll probably be able to get close to it.

I think even with new models you should be able to get 1900-2000 here on the MacRumors forums. If you sold it on eBay I wouldn't be surprised if you saw 2200.

Unless the specs on the updated models are more than what I expect, I think that $2000 would be a good selling point.
