My Macbook is an older one.. It has 1gb of ram, 2.0gthz, Graphics GMA 950, and it is an Intel Core 2 Duo. Those are the specs I have and I don't plan on upgrading anything, so could I run Snow Leopard on this computer well (as in just as well as Leopard) or should I just stick with Leopard?

That machine will run Snow Leopard. The 1GB of ram may hold it back a little, but once you upgrade it to 2 or 3.3GB of ram it'll be much better.

Upgrade to SL, along with some RAM if you can, there is absolutely no problem hardware wise. SL is a great OS and generally feels polished and perfectly stable.

Well, are there any places where I can buy 2gb worth of ram for super cheap, under $20 bucks?
