Hey guys, thinking of getting the top end MBA 13" (with 8gb ram, 2.0ghz i7) and would love to run the Arma 2 mod dayZ on it. Does anyone know if this would be possible, even on low settings, probably through a boot camp partition? Would I be better off with the base rMBP, although the price and size are a bit disconcerting?
Thanks in advance
CB

I have the 11 inch i7/8gb and I installed the Arma 2 demo on bootcamp - it ran at about 40 fps if I recall correctly, at lowest settings. I'm thinking of getting DayZ and Arma 2 but haven't had the time yet to do so.

Also, apparently there is currently an issue with the i7 bootcamp drivers and turbo boost, so perhaps there will be improved performance soon (even though I know the game is primarily GPU based).

EDIT: I also don't really want to buy Arma if DayZ won't run well...

I should imagine dayZ will run just as well as the arma 2 core game? Not a huge diffrence
