I have a late 2011 13"MBP and the one year warranty is going to expire in 2 weeks. I plan on using this computer for about 4 more years or at least until things like retina and ssd become a standard. ( like the future MBA's)
My question is should I pay $300 for AppleCare for 2 more years?

Yes.

Also, it's REALLY easy to install a SSD in your current laptop. The 256GB Samsung 830 is fast and reliable and can be had for $150~ if you shop around.

Yes. Do get it. Whether you keep this computer or sell it, its worth having

Look at BH Photo in NY, or LA COMPUTERS in LA, for cheapest options, closer to under 200 dollars

Yes.

If in the US, you can get Applecare for $183 if you qualify for the military/government or student discount.
