Could somebody run Super-Pi on their 8core MP?

I'm looking to see if anyone would be willing to run Super-Pi (1m and/or 32m) for me on XP ( don't think it will work in OSX, but if it miracuously does, even better!), either natively booted or through boot camp. I haven't ordered my system yet because I still need another $250, but I'm curious as to how this particular benchmark runs...

ok I did the test right after I installed wmfusion...

limitations ;

-under wmfusion XP, not bootcamp
-2gb stock ram (only 1gb assigned to XP)
-only 2 cores can be assigned to XP under wmfusion...

so its a 2 core 2.8ghz, 1gb system....

1M = 16secs.....

Well thats very interesting. My OC'd Q6600@3.2Ghz does 1M in 16s, Overclock it to 3.4=15s and 3.6Ghz = 14s.

If that's what the 2.8 does, personally I think its impressive. Now being honest, I am not sure how much of a comparison to real world that translates to, but I know from the overclocking stance, that 16s is a respectable time. Way to go and thanks for doing the bench.

Me too. My q6600 at 4ghz does it in about 13.5, so this is certainly a very good time for the mac, especially considering the 2gb of ram, and the fact that it was run through a VM.
