Hi guys,
recently I have upgraded my setup and all works pretty well but the microphone of my head set. My setup is as following:
  • my MacBook Pro 16" is attached to a CalDigit TB3 Plus
  • to the CalDigit are attached my mouse (Logitech G502) and my keyboard (Logitech Pro) using USB-A ports
  • to the CalDigit is also attached a monitor (Aorus AD27QD) using the DisplayPort 1.2 port. The monitor is also attached to the dock with cable USB-B to USB-A that enable the I/O of the monitor (2 USB-A ports, and an headphone jack splitted in in/out)
  • into the headphone jack is plugged in an adapter 2 in 1 that connects the headset to the monitor
I have a partition in Windows 10 with BootCamp and all works flawlessly. In MacOS is a different story, sometimes (and I can't figure out why) the microphone of the headset doesn't work at all. HERE are my input audio in System Preference and HERE in Audio MIDI Setup. I am sure that the connections are plugged in properly because everything work in windows and in MacOS I can hear sounds with the headset trough DisplayPort and USB both. And what is scaring me is that sometimes without any logic it works!

What should I do?
