I've been experimenting with OS X on a Vaio and was wondering if someone here would do me a favor and get an ioreg dump for me. :)

It's simple, all you do is open a terminal window and type in..

sudo ioreg -l -w0 -p IODeviceTree | grep device-prop > ~/Desktop/gfx.txt

(Yea, Sudo.. Heheh)

it'll dump a long hex string to a file called gfx.txt on your desktop. If you could paste that here that'd be awesomeness!

Thank you Joe!

Hehe I'll show you what that wall of hex translates into in a few minutes, hopefully this works ^^

It translates into a plist :) (and I've attached that)

With any hope, I can plug my laptop's EDID in and see if OS X then manages to find my LCD lol.
