Nope.. if you look, thr understide is photoshopped, but the biggest give away is the original picture used for the photoshop is in the top right hand corner. Wasn't it the french site Macbou....whatever that leaked the MDD pics as well, not apple insider?

This looks ever so real and looks like it would be pretty damn hard to do in Photoshop.

There are clearly repetitive cloning marks where the cable used to be. The person wasn't very good with Photoshop, it seems.

Gee...I wish I "wasn't very good with Photoshop." Could've fooled me... except for the fact that Apple hasn't released said product yet.

It does seem like it'd be easy to doctor up in Photoshop. You'd just get rid of the cord, enter the text where it says Wireless Mouse and add a BT symbol where the Apple logo used to be and you have yourself what looks to be a wireless bluetooth mouse. I'm not saying I could do such a thing, heck, I can't even afford Photoshop, so I have to just go by what I can do with Adobe PhotoDeluxe that came free with my digital camera, and you could more or less do that same thing with that to make a decent looking wireless Apple Pro mouse.

I think the fact the original is in the top corner of the picture is the biggest give away ;)

Fake. The "B" bluetooth logo is off perspective meaning it's slightly angle more to the right then it should be as well as the upper part of the B should be smaller as it descends into the background. Also, the Wireless mouse text is blurred when the surrounding areas of the mouse are not.

It’s obvious that there is not intent to deceive us. It’s a nice mock up. I especially like the reset buttons.

Wireless products also have labels. For Canada and the USA region, there would have to be CE and FCC information (respective for each country.) The labeling isn't much, but it's a tiny detail that many mockups miss. From what I understand this kind of marking must be present whereever feasible. China, Japan, and Singapore also require such labeling.

This is in addition to the printed material about interference.

Also, according to the Bluetooth Brand Book, the BT logo must have the (R) in the upper right hand portion of the image. There are protocols to forgo this, but as I read it, it should be there.

Picture attached to below illustrate.

On the subject of interference, I wonder if these things can/will interfere with Airport signals or other such household things. My friend had a Microsoft BT mouse that was so jumpy and if we used the microwave or turned off/on the lights or tv it would cause the mouse to get really jerky and weird.

I just have to wonder how much more EM noise we need to add to our environment. I'm not sure what the interference will be. I once did a POS installation in a casino (talk about somebody standing over your shoulder 24/7). I have a bugger of a time with interference at the studio I administer. Cell phones sometimes cause problems. Wireless heart monitors cause problems. I will personally destroy the next satellite phone that is used or left on. The electronic pip from the sat phones interferes even with well-shielded equipment.
