with no upgrade eligibility from at&t and pay an at&t discounted price or full price with no problems?

I was eligible for a full upgrade but wondering what if I wasnt, would it have let me continue to checkout.

I bought one from Apple (preordered) without upgrade eligibility. Can't see why you couldn't do the same for AT&T.

Well I thought you had to belong to a carrier to preorder, I wasnt sure. I guess if you're willing to pay full non-commitment price then who is apple to stop you.

But thanks, good to know for next time in case I dont have an upgrade.
