Couldn't find this in threads so help!

1.) my mail doesn't give me numbers of notification at the bottom where the apps are when it arrives. It only has a sound when it comes in but no notification. I've re-added my accounts and removed it, vise versa. Yet still not working.

2.) My macbook pro hasn't notify me the EFI Firmware Update 2.7 but i've read a quite a few people got this update. have u?

My MacBook Pro model is: the late 2011 13" MacBook Pro. i5, 4GB, 500GB of HDD..I did try but an error showed up.

The mail one is fixed! Now it's the updating firmware..that is a problem lol
