I have AW3 with cellular with AT&T, but I couldn't receive iMessages while on cell but could send them & I could send/receive calls??!!?? I don't know if I could send or receive regular texts (SMS). I've since un-pair and re-pair AW3, but I haven't tested it on cellular to see if things are fixed yet.

Meanwhile, any idea why I couldn't receive iMessages, but could do everything when AW3 was on cellular?

You couldn't receive "SMS" if your iPhone is not on charger & connect to the network I believe, but you'll be able to receive any iMessage (blue one) like usual.

My iPhone was connected to the charger. I don't know if I was able to receive green SMS texts as I didn't test for that. What's weird to me, is that I couldn't receive blue iMessages, but I could send them. I also could receive calls.

Should have done that first! I ended up un-pairing watch & re-pairing . . . I'm assuming it fixed the issue. I haven't tested it yet by not carrying my iPhone.
