I am making a video and at the end, I want a 10 second countdown.

I've seen it before on one of the apps I've used but can't remember which and how to do it. The countdown I'm thinking of, is like on an old film reel.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

For Premiere go to File -> new -> and countdown should be in there somewhere

for FCP there is a countdown include in the extras or goodies folder on the first install disk. But to make a quick countdown make a new text file on the timeline, and make each 1 second long and just change the numbers. It's a quick and easy way.

Thanks. I've had a look in Premiere and there's no countdown option in the 'new' sub menu. (I have CS3 if that makes any difference?)

I'll have a look at my FCP discs tomorrow morning :)

It's in the PC version of Premiere under File/New/Universal Counting Leader...
but for some reason it hasn't made it into the Mac version.
