I've been getting awful smoke lag recently. Not sure what the deal is.

:apple: iMac 7,1
Intel Core Duo CPU T700 @ 2.4Ghz,
2 GB Ram,
ATi Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT

Using.:

bootcamp > Microsoft Windows XP (Home Edition) SP 3.

1680 x 1050 (16:10)
Gamma Brightness 1.6
Shader Detail.: LOW (rest of settings HIGH)
Vertical Sync.: DISABLED
Filtering Mode.: BILINEAR
Antialiasing Mode.: NONE.
Direct X 8.1

Only started last few days. It only happens If I'm in/around the smoke, look into it, or If I spec somebody who walks about it or looks into it.

I've got a personal cfg, however I tried using the default and still the problem persisted. I even downloaded the CCC for my graphics card (and the Bootcamp edition for my iMac), I put everything on performance etc, and still get issues.

Kinda stuck,...:(
