I recently returned from a trip to China, where I visited an "Apple Store" in Xian that superficially resembled other Apple Stores in the US, with similar interior design and enthusiastic employees in blue t-shirts. I suspect this isn't a 'real' apple store for the following reasons:

1. No listing of the store on apple.com
2. Fonts were a bit off on the signs
3. Store was selling both the original ipad and ipad2
4. No genius bar
5. Guy behind the counter was using a Dell-branded monitor
6. No apple branded accessories for sale

Otherwise, every item on display was a genuine apple product. Seems a bit fishy. I took some photos though one of the employees told me that photographs were forbidden.
