A local Facebook Marketplace seller in my area is selling several pieces of "new" wired USB Apple Mighty Mouse (Model A1152). I am looking to purchase a number of wired mice to fit my old iMacs. The mice do not come with original boxes but are "sealed" in plastic bag. They look identical to ones sold by a number of eBay sellers, including the plastic packaging, like this one:

I am aware that there are counterfeit or fake Apple Magic Mouse (especially in China). However, I have not come across any legit reports of counterfeit or fake wired Apple Mighty Mouse.

Despite the fact that the product was long discontinued by Apple, supposedly the mouse is still widely available in the aftermarket in new condition because they are old stock left over as unused stock accessories taken out from unsold or disassembled old iMac. I read this on Reddit but am not able to find any independent source to back up this claim.

The photos sent to me from the seller appear to be legit. The bottom of the mouse has all of the same markings, including the Apple logo.

Can someone chime in whether or not counterfeit or fake Apple Mighty Mouse is a thing or not?
