Counting down till 2.1... [POLL]

I started off with no crashes... no nothing. Now a week later, (quite) a few crashes later, and (quite) a bit of frustration, I am really feeling the need for 2.1. PLEASE Apple, less crashing, perhaps better 3G/EDGE/GPRS management, and better internal battery management... the list just goes on I guess.

Let's hope 2.1 does deliver!

Between 3G passing off to EDGE and the App updates being completely broken, I'm really really really hoping that 2.1 fixes all these issues.

iphone has so much unrealized potential. it's kind of sad really. i get the feeling that the 3g model is going to be flawed for it's entire life. I guess another yare's wait for something better. Hopefully 2.1 helps the 3G/edge switching lag. I'd give up apps entirely if they could fix 3G.

Im hoping it fixings the lag on my contacts and sms. Oh, and the safari crashing. Possibly fix the 3g, but this isnt a deal breaker. Everything else is peachy

my 3G has been working fine under 2.0.2.

i think its a little premature to say the phone will be flawed for its entire life when its only been out for a little over a month.

Only things bugging me is slow keyboard and contacts but other than that, I'd love Push for IM apps to become relevant.

i didnt have any complaints with 2.0 at all.
then things changed when 2.0.1 came. a little of all the problems everyone else is having.
then 2.0.2 came out and now im having much more than a handful.
dropped calls? i havent had a dropped call since '01, but all of a sudden it seems as though 2/3 of all my calls have some type of failure.
i cant complain much. less nagging from my gf.

but i for one, hope 2.1 helps patch things up.
can i wait?

i dont want this to be a let down.

I don't seem to have many problems at all with 3G speeds or connection on the Rogers network here in Canada, but I'd really love for Safari to stop crashing on me (especially on basic websites like news ones). SMS lag sucks, and contact lag REALLY sucks.

And give me the ability to search my damn emails!
