Couple charged in possible exorcism death

Police said the dead girl, whose body was discovered in a motel room, had been strangled and stabbed, and her back was broken. An autopsy was planned.

they murdered a 6-year-old girl, and you think they're sick because they did it in a motel room? heh, priorities...

i'd make a politically-charged speech right now about religion... but, why bother. these guys are just crazy, no matter what.

That is very sad. This sweet young girl certainly didn't deserve this kind of treatment. Parents should have to pass a test prior to having children.

I could bring up the whole "it's a small percentage blah blah" thing, but I'm too damned tired.

After reading paul's comment, I was reminded of a sect in the town next to my hometown. You may have heard of it, because they were featured on Dateline a few years ago. Basically, they starved a few of their kids because "God told us too" and then buried the bodies way out in the Maine sticks.

this is the kind of crap that kept me far away from religion most of my life. now that i do believe in God i still can't understand how these people can call themselves Christians at all.

as i say all the time, "i wish i could just take everyone like this and just backhand them... twice".

It is sad, but there just happens to be the radical fringe in every sector of our society. The majority of Christians live by the laws of God. The fringe just happen to listen to humans and no God. The Bible warns of this kind of problem.

They do need to be punished.

Hmm, say a link earlier today about an 11 year old girl in Kiev that gave birth to a son. The boy's 26 year old father fled, and he faces up to 3 years in prison.

That's so sick, I'm not even going to comment.
