Haha, well I've been using a flip phone, and boy this thing is slow and a PIA compared to my good old iPhone.

I NEED an iPhone agian. I came across a 3G on craigslist for $250....if it is local(aka not a scam) then I will probably purchase.

When you buy a used 3G can you just activate at the house through iTunes, or do you have to go to an ATT store? Are there any catches I should look out for?

I really want a 3G and if I can get this one for the price, ill do it, but the $30 a month data plan with NO texts is just a downer, I really liked the old iPhone plans....

Things to look for:
1. Is it stolen? Make them call you from it, take no excuses untill you see it work
2. Is it a 'recovered' liquid damaged phone? Check in the headphone jack for a pink indicator.

Since more then likely its already active all you should need to do is pop a sim in it and your good to go. This would hold true if you haven't messed with your old 2g iPhone plan.
