Specifically with Mail, are mail messages actually downloaded to the watch? Or is the mail on the watch more of a window into what is downloaded on the iPhone? For example, I may have thousands of old mails in my Inbox (yes, I know), many with attachments. How does the Apple Watch handle that. The one thing I cannot stand is having inconsistent read/unread counts across devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac, and potentially Apple Watch).
Similar to the point above, with Messages, how consistent is the read/unread functionality? If I read a text message on the Apple Watch, can I reasonably assume that it will then be marked as read on my iPhone?
