Hope u guys can help me out..

1) If I preorder my iphone 4 from Apple.com and have it shipped to my home.. Do I still have to go to the AT&T store to activate the phone? Or it going to be done already by the time it shipped to my home?

2) Will the Sim card be a different one than iPhone 3G? If so.. how can I transfer my contacts into iPhone 4?

3) Will the OS3 APPs work on OS4?

Thanks!

1) you will not have to go into an AT&T store, you'll do home activation.

2) Yes, you'll want to sync your contacts with your Mac and then sync to your new iPhone.

3) some do, some don't. Dev's will most likely submit updated apps for 4.0 to be ready for launch.

buthow do I do a home activation?

You plug it in iTunes and it guides you through a very simple set up. The only problem you might encounter is it might be slow due to a ton of other people trying to activate at the same time. If so, just wait until non-peak hours.
