1. Is the 64GB iPod Touch physically thicker than the 8GB and 32GB?

2. How long (estimate) will the iPod Touch battery last (average use) before I need to send it in to Apple for a replacement?

I really want an iPod Touch! :D

P.S. I searched before I posted.

1. The outside casing and dimensions of all three models are exactly the same. They are also the same as the 2nd generation touches.

2. Really depends on individual usage. If you are worried, look into getting the Apple Care extended warranty, and you can have it replaced if the battery life degrades during the warranty period, which would be 2 years with Apple Care (1 year with standard warranty). After 2 years, it would probably be a better deal to just give it up and buy the latest model, since battery replacements are rather expensive.

The battery last pretty long. I use a 2G iphone that I bought from Dec '07 and the battery is still going strong. The thing of course is turned on 24/7 being a phone and all.
